Makes 2 Cups
2 Cups Water
1.5 Tablespoons chia seeds
1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons agave syrup
Mix all in a container, and shake or whisk.
Let it sit for 30 minutes, shaking or whisking every now and then.
Drink as is, or chill first.
Store any leftovers in the fridge overnight.
Notes: You can find lots of info. on chia fresca online, on sites like this one. Whole Foods and health food stores usually have chia seeds now and they’re much cheaper in bulk. You can also buy organic chia seeds.
